When animal rights are concerned, fashion and fur usually do not mix. This was not the case, when about 50 locals gathered at the Obion County Fairgrounds for a unique form of philanthropy-a fashion show.
The event, titled Rescues and Runways, was hosted by the national clothing retailer Maurice's. As part of a national campaign to benefit the ASPCA, each Maurice's outlet teamed up with a local shelter and held a fashion show featuring their fall collection as well as some furry friends in need.
